We are an export house on Sri Lanka's east coast. Our work is simple to describe and hard to do well: get seafood from the Indian Ocean to Europe in the condition it left the water.
RS Ocean Pearl began on the beach at Kalmunai, buying from the boats that come in at first light. We saw that European buyers wanted what the east coast had — and that too much of it arrived tired. We built the company to close that gap.
Kalmunai is a coastal town in Sri Lanka's Eastern Province, facing the Bay of Bengal. Fishing here is generations deep. Our supply starts with local fishing families along this coast, and our facility sits minutes from where the boats land.
